- Demonstrated understanding of inclusion support and evidence of knowledge of intervention programs at an individual and small group level.
- Experience and/or ability in the development and implementation of intervention programs that support student outcomes, within the focus areas of supporting Literacy, Numeracy and/or Social Emotional outcomes.
- Demonstrated capacity to monitor and respond to achievement and growth data for students engaged in intervention programs.
- Demonstrate knowledge of Disability Inclusion practices and processes.
- Demonstrated experience working successfully within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, including cultural competence and sensitivity. Role Inclusion Support role provides targeted support to students, staff and the Inclusion Team to enhance student engagement, access, participation and wellbeing within an inclusive educational environment. The role works collaboratively with teachers, Education Support staff, allied health professionals and school leadership to support students with additional learning and wellbeing needs, facilitate intervention programs, and assist with Disability Inclusion processes and administration. While the position is advertised as a five day per week position, ability to negotiate a part-time position is possible. Responsibilities Disability Inclusion Administrative Support
- Provide administrative support for Disability Inclusion processes, including the preparation and organisation of documentation for Disability Inclusion Profile (DIP) meetings.
- Assist with collecting, collating and maintaining evidence relating to student learning, adjustments, wellbeing, attendance and engagement.
- Support the scheduling and coordination of Student Support Group (SSG) meetings, Disability Inclusion meetings and related processes.
- Maintain accurate student records and confidential documentation in accordance with Department and school policies.
- Assist with the preparation of meeting agendas, minutes, reports and supporting documentation. Intervention Program Facilitation
- Facilitate targeted intervention programs for identified students under the guidance of Inclusion Leader and Assistant Principal.
- Deliver small-group or individual support programs focusing on areas such as literacy, numeracy, social skills, emotional regulation, school engagement and organisation.
- Support students to achieve identified learning and wellbeing goals through structured intervention sessions.
- Monitor student participation and progress within intervention programs and provide feedback to relevant staff.
- Prepare and organise resources required for intervention programs and student support activities.
- Contribute to the evaluation and continuous improvement of intervention programs through data collection and feedback processes.
- Support students to transfer skills learned in intervention settings into classroom and broader school contexts. Inclusion Team Administrative Support
- Provide administrative and operational support to the Inclusion Team.
- Assist with the coordination of Inclusion Team processes, meetings and communication.
- Prepare documentation, reports, schedules and resource materials for Inclusion Team initiatives and programs.
- Undertake other administrative duties aligned with the effective operation of the Inclusion Team and school support services. Classroom Support for Students
- Provide targeted in-class support for students to support their learning and engagement within the classroom environment.
- Support implementation adjustments and inclusive practices aligned to student learning goals, Individual Education Plans (IEPs), Behaviour Support Plans and Ready to Learn Plans.
- Assist students to engage in classroom routines, learning tasks, organisation and transitions throughout the school day.
- Support the development of student independence, self-regulation, communication and social interaction skills.
- Provide supervision and support to individual students and small groups in controlled settings under the direction of a teacher.
- Liaise with teachers regarding student engagement, progress and support needs.
- Maintain accurate records and communication notes relating to student support. Additional Duties

- Attend relevant Team Around the Learner meetings
- Attend relevant Whole School Professional Learning
- Complete administrative tasks including the documentation of classroom supports Other Duties
