- we're the world's biggest integrated security company operating in over 90 countries globally About the role and team: Our team at Court Services Victoria keeps the courts and tribunals and the people who attend them safe, secure and orderly. For people living with family violence, court security also makes the experience of attending court safer and less confronting. We are currently seeking professional, well-presented security personnel to work as Security Officers at the Victorian County Court in Melbourne CBD. Duties in the role include:
- Providing friendly and productive customer service to everyone who enters the facility
- Conducting X-ray screening to detect and remove prohibited items from entering
- Roving security patrols inside and outside of the building
- Conflict resolution and negotiation
- Managing access control systems
- Writing detailed and accurate reports
- Monitoring and responding within courtrooms
- Working alongside Corrections Victoria and Victoria Police PSOs What we're looking for:
- A current Victorian Security Licence
- Minimum of Certificate II in Security Operations
- First Aid Accreditation and CPR Qualification (Desired
- not essential, but willing to renew or complete)
- Available to complete a 4-week, fully paid, full-time training program that is completed on the job The recruitment process:
