TRS Resourcing seeks a skilled Machine Operator to join our client's dynamic team in Melbourne. This role involves operating state-of-the-art CNC FICEP Beamline and bandsaw machinery to cut and shape metal components to precise specifications. The position is casual for 3-6 months, with the potential to transition to a permanent role based on performance and business needs. Shift: Afternoon Shift – Casual Position (3-6 months). Location: Campbellfield, VIC. Company: TRS Resourcing. Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor CNC beamline and bandsaw machines to accurately cut and shape metal materials.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and job orders to determine machine settings and material requirements.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised work environment. Requirements
- Proven experience operating CNC beamline and bandsaw machinery in a metal fabrication workplace.
- Experience operating an overhead workshop crane.
- Strong understanding of metalworking principles and the ability to read technical drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical fitness and ability to handle heavy materials, and stand for extended periods. What We Offer
