Batman's Hill on Collins is a 4-star hotel in Melbourne, offering an ideal city stay for corporate, leisure and group travel guests. We are conveniently located in the heart of Melbourne's CBD, right opposite Southern Cross Station. The hotel features 190 rooms and apartments, a fully equipped conference centre with 10 function spaces, two restaurants and a bar. Two of our three towers are heritage buildings, providing our guests with unique accommodation. Offering impeccable service and a welcoming atmosphere, Batman’s Hill on Collins is the ideal accommodation and food & beverage venue for guests visiting the city for leisure or work.

Your responsibilities will include:

Providing a unique and personalized guest experience for each guest at our hotel by creating rapport with guests and using creative and personal ways to exceed guest expectations.

Taking and directing all incoming calls

Sharing information about the hotel and the local area with our guests

Assisting guests with luggage to and from their room

Maintaining the presentation of the front desk and hotel lobby

Qualifications

Commitment to providing outstanding guest service together iwth excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Availability to work a rotating roster including early mornings, afternoons,evenings, weekends and public holidays. Occasional overnight shifts may be required.

Ability to work in a quick-paced environment and to prioritise tasks

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and good keyboard skills

Familiarity with Melbourne and the ability to make recommendations to guests is desirable but not essential

You must have current working rights in Australia
