Role and Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of accounts. Schedule pick‐ups & deliveries. Ensure customer requirements are met. Liaise with customers and carriers. Answer calls and customer queries. Further investigation of freight queries. Data entry. Follow up phone calls with an email to confirm all details are correct and have all quotes in writing. Provide successful account management techniques to support the ever‐growing client base. Maintain relationships of major accounts within your portfolio. Control service levels (pick‐up and delivery windows) to optimize client satisfaction each day. Provide constant feedback to management on account progress, including problems, faults, and areas of improvement, as well as passing on information regarding urgent bookings or priority jobs. Constantly liaise with clients and carriers regarding consignments. Attention to detail when making notations and placing bookings.
