Located in Tullamarine VIC.

Day shift, Monday to Friday.

Our client is a global manufacturer of paints, coatings and specialty materials operating in 70 countries.

Responsibilities

Pay rate of $*/hr including casual loading.

Blend and colour match coatings for customer needs.

Record weights and volumes.

Clean machines and accessories.

Read production orders and accurately interpret volume and weight of required chemical ingredients.

Pour or transfer product into containers by using spatulas, scrapers etc.

Follow all prescribed operating and equipment handling procedures.

Maintain high housekeeping standards.

Perform other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience

Must be able to effectively read, write, and communicate in English and to follow written and verbal instructions.

Candidate must have basic mathematical skills.

Paint manufacturing and colour matching experience helpful but not required.

Basic computer skills required.

An interest to expand on skills and knowledge and willingness to learn.

Must be reliable and available to commit Monday to Friday.

Willing to assist paint makers in day to day operations.

Robust attention to detail.

Punctual and reliable.
