Qualifications & Experience At least 1 year of relevant work experience Tasks & Responsibilities Interpret construction plans, blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications to determine project requirements, dimensions, and installation methods. Select, prepare, and organise timber, tools, equipment, and construction materials in accordance with project specifications and Australian standards. Measure, cut, shape, and assemble timber and other materials to construct and install frameworks, structures, and fittings. Construct and install wall frameworks, roof structures, subfloors, flooring systems, and partitions while ensuring structural integrity and alignment. Install doors, locks, skirting boards, architraves, cabinetry, and other internal fittings and fixtures. Carry out framing, finishing, and general carpentry works for commercial and industrial projects. Construct, erect, and dismantle formwork for concrete structures as required. Repair, maintain, and modify existing structures, fixtures, and fittings to ensure functionality and compliance. Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery safely and efficiently. Ensure all carpentry work is completed in compliance with workplace health and safety (WHS) requirements and relevant Australian building standards.
