About the role As a Shopper Creative Copywriter at Mars United, you'll play a key role in shaping creative ideas and bringing integrated, multi‐channel shopper campaigns to life. Reporting to the Group Creative Director, you'll collaborate closely with strategy, client service, and creative partners to develop compelling copy, brand messaging, and concepts that influence consumers at every stage of the path to purchase. This role blends big‐picture thinking with hands‐on execution — from concepting and storytelling through to crafting copy across a wide range of channels. You'll be passionate about copy craft, innovation, and shopper creativity, with a strong understanding of how ideas translate across real‐world touchpoints. And while this role is for a Copywriter, we're also open to applications from established creative teams (Copywriter + Art Director) who love working together and want to apply as a duo. Key responsibilities Create effective shopper advertising campaigns that resonate with target audiences and meet client objectives. Craft compelling stories, headlines, and copy that clearly communicate brand messages. Develop copy across print, POS, OOH, digital, social, and interactive media. Create concepts, scripts, and content for TV, radio, video, and other audiovisual formats. Apply a strong understanding of shopper ecosystems and path‐to‐purchase messaging. Collaborate closely with strategy and client services teams to deliver integrated campaigns. Partner with clients to ensure satisfaction and strong creative outcomes. Manage projects to ensure work is delivered on time, within budget, and aligned to strategy. Contribute to proposals and pitches, demonstrating creative excellence and strategic thinking. Mentor junior team members and foster a collaborative, curious creative culture. The Person we are looking for 6+ years' experience in copywriting, with a strong creative foundation. 4+ years' experience working in a creative agency environment. A standout portfolio showcasing strong ideas, storytelling, and craft. Experience working across shopper, retail, or commerce‐led creative is highly valued. Confident presenting ideas and guiding clients through the creative process. A strong understanding of digital, social, print, and photography. Highly organized, detail‐oriented, and comfortable managing multiple projects. Proficient in PowerPoint; working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud is beneficial. Adaptable, proactive, and curious, with a passion for learning and innovation. Open to collaboration — whether working solo or as part of a long‐standing creative team.
