Position Overview Our client is currently seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Assistant Mechanical Engineering Intern to join its team in Oakleigh, VIC. This is a great prospect for a recent graduate or current student to gain hands‐on experience in the field of mechanical engineering. Key Responsibilities Assist the mechanical engineering team in designing and developing current products Conduct research and analysis to support product development Create and modify engineering drawings using CAD software Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely completion of projects Participate in testing and troubleshooting of products Assist with documentation and technical writing Attend meetings and provide input on project progress Maintain a clean and organized work environment Follow all safety protocols and company policies Qualifications Pursuing or recently completed a degree in mechanical engineering or a related field Proficient in CAD software, preferably SolidWorks Strong problem‐solving and critical‐thinking skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Detail‐oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Passion for learning and a desire to gain hands‐on experience in the field Available to work full‐time for the duration of the internship Hands‐on experience in a fast‐paced and dynamic work environment Exposure to a wide range of projects and industries Mentorship and guidance from experienced engineers Chance to develop technical and professional skills Competitive compensation #J-*****-Ljbffr Apply on Kit Job: kitjobau.com/job/3rejim
