The Role Millennium is currently seeking a qualified, reliable, and experienced Security Officer to join our team at one of our retail shopping centres. Roster Week 1: Thursday: 18:*****:00 Saturday: 18:*****:00 Friday: 20:*****:00 Saturday: 20:*****:00 Week 2: Friday: 20:*****:00 Saturday: 20:*****:00 Sunday: 18:*****:00 (24‐hour shift) Key Responsibilities Patrolling designated areas to ensure the safety and security of people and property Providing a professional and courteous customer service experience Adhering to all relevant security protocols and procedures Respond to emergencies, alarm events, calls for assistance and provide the necessary support Assess and respond to situations of risk To Be Successful In This Role A valid Security Licence Basic First Aid and CPR certification Previous experience in a retail workplace (highly regarded) Availability for day/night and weekday/weekend shifts A good level of physical fitness (patrols are part of the role) Reliable transportation (preferred) The ability to follow instructions and work independently Solid attention to detail A proven track record of reliability and punctuality You must have valid work rights in Australia.
