Key Job Responsibilities The AWS Infrastructure Capacity Delivery team is searching for a passionate and talented Technical Programme Manager to support projects growing our Data Centre infrastructure. The TPM will lead cross‑functional and technical teams to deliver new Data Centres, from strategy and design to budget, implementation, testing and deployment, including all dependencies needed to deliver new data centre infrastructure. At AWS, we expect our leaders to interact with customers, partners and suppliers to understand our business goals and priorities, and to execute rapidly, delivering high‑quality results. The candidate will be comfortable managing remote project delivery teams, facilitating technical sessions to troubleshoot issues and remove barriers to project success, building cross‑functional matrix‑based teams, establishing trust with stakeholders across multiple time zones, managing capital budgets, eliminating unnecessary activity, designing solutions, removing blockers and finding creative ways to accelerate project delivery. The TPM will be familiar with project management tools, methodologies and techniques for all phases of the project life cycle and will have demonstrated experience in core project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, resources, quality and risk management, reporting and metric development/tracking. Other requirements include experience with MS Office, MS Project and MS SharePoint. Do you look around corners to find ways of optimizing resources and speeding up delivery? - 3+ years of technical infrastructure management experience
- Experience in hands‑on work managing complex technology projects Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading highly technical programs involving infrastructure, complex systems, systems engineering
