We are currently seeking a Permanent Full Time staff member to join our team based at our offices in Sunshine. About the role Reporting to the Director, People, Partnership and Performance, the Executive Assistant provides high quality executive and administration support and promotes a positive culture of collaboration and continuous improvement to support the Directorate and organisation to achieve its objectives. What you will deliver
- Effective and efficient administration support
- Coordination and preparation of high quality reports, presentations, Briefing Notes, correspondence, public questions, Councillor requests, meeting agendas and minutes
- Forward planning to support Directorate planning, reporting and decision making
- Diary and inbox management for the Director
- Effective communication within the Directorate through coordinating the flow of information to Departments within the Directorate, and with other Directorates What you will bring
- A strong demonstration of our organisational values
- Your passion for collaborating with others and fostering relationships through teamwork
- Excellence organisational skills and attention to detail to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment
- Strong knowledge of IT systems including Microsoft apps, CM9, Doc Assembler, Council Portal (preferable)
- Some political nous with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential information
- A proactive, positive and flexible attitude with a continuous improvement mindset
- A genuine interest in developing personally and professionally
