About The Position The City of Monash is seeking an experienced Arborist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be as excited as we are to contribute to greening the City of Monash. In this role you can build strong working relationships, will be part of a great team, and will have the opportunity to use your attention to detail, and time and data management skills flexibly in a rapid-paced environment. About You
- Proactive individual with a strong work ethic
- Experience indirectly supervising contractors to deliver programs that improve the urban forest within the Monash municipality
- Passionate about the arboriculture industry and the positive impact it contributes to communities
- Customer‑centric focus and pride in providing exceptional customer service
- Solid understanding of Australian standards and Energy Safe Victoria regulations Requirements
- Diploma in Arboriculture or equivalent with experience in a similar role or lower qualification with a willingness to obtain a Diploma
- Must hold the unit Preform Ground Based Tree Defect Evaluation (AHCARB403)
- Demonstrated experience and understanding of Electrical Line Clearance requirements (Cert II ESI desirable)
