The Role This is a hands‑on Managing Director opportunity to lead the next phase of growth for a digitally‑led consumer business, with full P&L; accountability across marketing, digital, operations, finance, supply chain and customer experience. The focus is on building and scaling — taking a solid foundation and turning it into a more mature, high‑performing and commercially disciplined growth engine. Key responsibilities include: Lead the next phase of growth, leading a team to build and scale across a digitally‑led D2C model. Additional opportunity to develop and grow the emerging B2B channel. Drive commercial outcomes through clear prioritisation, smart investment and financial discipline. Continue to evolve the product offer and customer experience to support growth and retention. Translate strategy into action — setting clear priorities and maintaining pace across the business. Lead, align and develop a cross‑functional leadership team. Oversee the digital leadership team, optimising the eCommerce engine, with a strong focus on marketing performance, customer acquisition and conversion. Strengthen visibility, reporting and data‑led decision making to support faster, better decisions. Stay close to the detail — actively problem‑solving, unblocking teams and driving execution. This role is highly strategic, but equally operational — suited to someone who enjoys building, testing, iterating and leading from the front. The Candidate The ideal candidate is a commercially entrepreneurial, digitally‑mindful leader with experience building and scaling consumer businesses. You will bring: Proven P&L; ownership within a consumer, retail or D2C workplace. Strong understanding of eCommerce, digital marketing and customer growth levers. Experience in scaling businesses — ideally through periods of rapid growth, change or reinvestment. A hands‑on, operator mindset — comfortable being close to the detail and solving problems in real time. The ability to balance strategy with execution, and move quickly from idea to action. Strong commercial judgement, with a focus on outcomes and prioritisation. A collaborative leadership style, with a focus on building capability and momentum across teams. Energy, curiosity and a genuine interest in building something and making it better.
