This is a permanent full-time position based in Melbourne, Darwin or Adelaide. - Own end‑to‑end delivery of the 3rd‑party audit program and ensure audits are completed on time.
- Keep the schedule aligned with contract requirements and Defence priorities.
- Ensure all service lines, sites, documentation, systems, and personnel are audit‑ready.
- Serve as the main point of contact for external auditors.
- Track non‑conformances, CARs, and corrective actions through to closure.
- Confirm audit outcomes demonstrate compliance with contractual and procedural requirements.
- Deliver regular program updates, including monthly auditor and customer meetings.
- Share annual schedules, notifications, and reporting expectations with stakeholders.
- Arrange SME participation for desktop and onsite audits.
- Provide objective evidence to third‑party auditors.
- Consolidate feedback, manage responses, and oversee systemic issue resolution.
- Ensure adequate resourcing to support successful audit delivery. About You Our ideal candidate will have:
- Internal auditing experience with demonstrated interaction with third‑party auditors.
- Facilities maintenance background with a minimum of 5 years’ experience.
- Lead Auditor certification.
- Time‑management capability across concurrent projects.
- Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- Leadership and coordination of audit programs.
- Stakeholder engagement to ensure timely audit outcomes with clear actions. You must be an Australian Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance.
