VC Installation/AV Support-Dispatch/Freelance (Melbourne)

Project: Cisco Room Kit EQ with Cisco Quad Camera Installation & Commissioning Client: WWT / Infosys Australia Activity Date: Friday, 22nd May 2026 697 Collins Street Docklands 3008 VIC Scope of Work The assigned engineers will perform onsite installation, setup, testing, and commissioning activities for the Cisco Room Kit EQ solution with Cisco Quad Camera at the customer location. Activities to be Performed 1. Site Readiness & Pre-Installation Checks
- Coordinate with customer/site contact upon arrival.
- Verify room readiness, mounting locations, power availability, and network connectivity.
- Confirm all hardware components are available onsite.
- Inspect displays, mounting brackets, cabling pathways, and rack space (if applicable).
- Unbox and physically install the Cisco Room Kit EQ components.
- Mount and position the Cisco Quad Camera as per room design.
- Connect codec, camera, microphones, touch controller, displays, and peripherals.
- Perform structured cabling and cable management.
- Ensure proper labeling and cable dressing using cable ties. 3. Configuration & Integration
- Configure network connectivity and device initialization.
- Integrate the Room Kit EQ with room displays and peripherals.
- Configure basic room settings and connectivity parameters.
- Verify device registration/connectivity as instructed by the remote support/customer IT team. 4. Power-On & Functional Validation
- Power on all installed equipment.
- Validate hardware status and system health.
- Perform basic audio/video testing including:
- Microphone and speaker testing
- Display output validation
- Network connectivity verification
- Validate touch panel/controller responsiveness.
- Conduct end-to-end functionality testing.
- Support remote engineering team during commissioning activities if required.
- Rectify basic physical installation or connectivity issues onsite.
- Confirm operational readiness of the meeting room solution. 6. Documentation & Handover
- Capture installation photographs before and after completion.
- Obtain customer sign-off upon successful completion.
