Warehouse Operator & Freight Coordinator (Melbourne)

Warehouse Operator & Freight Coordinator This is a hands‑on role that will best suit someone who enjoys working in a small team environment. THE ROLE We are seeking a motivated Warehouse Operator to join our small warehouse team in Botany. Your typical daily responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating the receival and dispatch of cargo in line with SOPs and OH&S; standards
- Physically loading and unloading large volumes of cargo including 20‑30kg boxes
- Forklift Operations
- driving, equipment checks etc.
- Managing incoming deliveries
- Accurately picking / labelling / packing cargo including dry, chilled, frozen and/or perishable products
- Liaising with customers & team members
- General housekeeping and administration HOURS OF WORK This is a full‑time position but your standard days of work may vary week to week, as such availability across a 7-day roster is essential. Shift times will vary but will usually include an early morning start. ABOUT YOU We are looking for motivated individuals, preferably with some experience working in a similar warehouse environment. - Current Forklift Licence and experience operating a forklift
- Current Australian Driver's Licence & own transport
- A reasonable level of physical fitness to perform manual lifting including loading & unloading large volumes 20‑30kg boxes
- Punctual and reliable
- Confidence in stacking heavy loads
- Solid adherence to safety standards is a must
- Must meet requirements to obtain an ASIC
