- $112,222 About The NDIS Quality And Safeguards Commission (NDIS Commission) The NDIS Commission is an independent agency established on 1 July 2018 to improve the quality and safety of NDIS supports and services. It is the dedicated national regulator of NDIS service providers in Australia. We work with NDIS participants, service providers, workers and the community to ensure participants have choice, control and dignity when they access high‑quality supports and services in safe environments. About The Data And Regulatory Transformation (DART) Program The DART Program sits within the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission and is delivering a major uplift to the Commission’s digital and data systems and tools. DART creates a modern, connected suite of systems that transform how the Commission operates as a regulator. By leveraging contemporary technology, these systems enable better identification of participant and provider interactions, earlier detection of risk, and faster, more effective regulatory action. This supports the Commission to be a more proactive, engaged and productive regulator. DART also strengthens safeguarding for NDIS participants, enhances regulation of providers and workers, and reduces unnecessary regulatory burden for providers, with a strong focus on cyber security to protect personal and sensitive information. About The Role As a Service Designer, you will help drive discovery and co‑design activities that form a service design sprint (aligned to business functions or processes) to understand current services and shape practical, human‑centred future‑state processes that leverage the new capabilities the NDIS Commission is delivering and the Commission’s Target Operating Vision. You will develop current and future state service maps, synthesise insights, and translate them into clear artefacts that support informed decision‑making on agreed future‑state business processes and enable effective delivery of enabling capabilities. Working in a dynamic and fast‑paced environment, you will collaborate closely with policy, business and technical teams to design services that are feasible, scalable and aligned to the Commission’s priorities. The role focuses on identifying opportunities and risks across people, process and technology, ensuring design outcomes are evidence‑based and grounded in real user needs. At the APS6 level, you will operate with a high degree of autonomy and judgement, contributing specialist expertise, managing competing priorities and communicating complex ideas clearly to a range of stakeholders, taking responsibility for the quality and timeliness of your work. #J-18808-Ljbffr Apply on Kit Job: kitjobau.com/job/3romh8
