This role is a hands-on blend of design work and direct customer engagement, where you'll help uncover user needs, brainstorm new ideas, and collaborate to bring concepts to life. It's a perfect opportunity for a growing design professional who is passionate about both strategy and execution—someone excited to think about the big picture while crafting exceptional, user-centered experiences.What You'll Do Deliver pixel-perfect design: Work closely with developers, Product Managers across various teams to deliver high-quality designs that are backed up by UX research. Drive Strategy: Spearhead the creation of scalable, human-centered design strategies that address critical user needs and achieve business goals. Lead Discovery: Plan and lead customer discovery sessions to uncover unmet needs, align stakeholders, and generate actionable insights. Prototype & Iterate: Rapidly translate abstract concepts into tangible prototypes leveraging AI tools, iterating based on feedback from users, customers, and internal teams. Collaborate Across Disciplines: Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Research teams to ensure solutions are feasible, valuable, and ethically responsible. Champion the Vision: Present work, ideas, and strategic rationale in a clear and compelling way that inspires action from both technical and non-technical audiences. Elevate Our Practice: Continuously refine and improve our team's design processes, methodologies, and collaborative practices## Basic Requirements.What You'll Bring (Basic Qualifications) Bachelor's or Master's degree in HCI, Design, Psychology, Computer Science (with a focus on AI/HCI), or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 4+ years of experience in product design, service design, or a strategic design role. A strong portfolio demonstrating both strategic thinking and hands-on design execution. Demonstrated mastery of planning and facilitating workshops, design sprints, and customer co-creation sessions. Deep expertise in user-centered design methodologies, systems thinking, and design research. Exceptional communication and storytelling skills (verbal, written, and visual), with the ability to distill complex information into clear, compelling narratives. Proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools to rapidly visualize and test ideas.What Sets You Apart (Preferred Qualifications) Proven ability to utilize user data and metrics to inform design decisions. A foundational understanding of core AI concepts (e.g., Machine Learning, NLP, Generative AI), including their capabilities, limitations, and ethical considerations. Experience designing interfaces that promote AI transparency, explainability, and user trust. Experience using AI tools to rapidly prototype experiences or visualize complex data. A passion for speculative design and exploring novel applications of emerging AI to envision future user experiences.
