- Lead a busy team that keeps prison records and property running smoothly.
- Help support safe prison operations at a major women's correctional centre.
- Use your leadership skills to guide staff through complex daily work.
- Build strong operational knowledge in a unique and fast‑paced environment.
- Ongoing, full‑time role earning $81,496 – $98,955 per year, plus super. Responsibilities As team leader – records and property, you will supervise records and property services at Dame Phyllis Frost Centre. You will help ensure prisoner records and property processes meet legal and policy requirements.
- Supervise the delivery of accurate prisoner records and release documentation.
- Manage the handling, transfer and storage of prisoner property across the prison.
- Plan and prioritise workloads to support efficient daily operations.
- Complete regular audits and reviews to maintain compliance and improve processes.
- Provide clear advice to staff, courts, police and other government agencies. Qualifications You should have strong computer skills and experience using systems such as PTOS, E‑Justice and PIMS. Previous records experience is highly regarded. Property experience is not required, as training will be provided.
- Good understanding of legislation, policies and operational procedures.
- Experience leading staff in a correctional or similar environment.
- Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.
