Part-Time Business Development Executive Melbourne, VIC Part-Time About the Role We are currently looking for a motivated and people-focused Business Development / Sales Executive to join our growing team in Melbourne. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys client interaction, relationship building, sales, and identifying new business opportunities. You will be working closely with prospective clients and supporting business growth across our services while working towards weekly KPIs and targets. There is also potential for the role to transition into a full-time opportunity over time. Key Responsibilities
- Develop an in-depth understanding of the company's products and value proposition
- Conduct market research to identify recent markets and customer requirements
- Identify new business opportunities, including new markets, partnerships, products, and services
- Develop and maintain new client relationships
- Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
- Introduce new and existing clients to the company's services and offerings, including cold-calling activities
- Promote the company's products and services by addressing client needs and goals
- Conduct consultations with potential clients and students
- Demonstrate trials and demos to prospective clients
- Report on accomplishments and areas for improvement
- Attend conferences and industry events where required
- Meet weekly KPIs and performance targets Skills & Requirements
- Ability to sell ideas, products, and services
- Excellent time management and multitasking skills
- Strategic and creative thinking abilities
- Strong people and customer service skills
- Positive and professional attitudeTechnical ability to understand and propose suitable solutions based on client requirements
- Solid IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently and within a team
- Solid understanding of business and marketing principles
- Understanding of Australian market trends within the Training, Accounting, and Taxation industry Preferred
- Previous experience in sales, business development, customer service, or client-facing roles
