Hiring- Senior Tax Accountant ???? Doncaster East, VIC | Full-Time | Business Services & Advisory We have partnered with ambitious business to help them grow, scale, and make smarter financial decisions. We’re looking for a proactive and client-focused Senior Accountant to join their growing Business Services & Advisory team. About the Role As a Senior Accountant, you’ll manage a diverse portfolio of SME, trust, partnership, and high-net-worth clients while delivering high-quality accounting, taxation, and advisory services. You’ll work closely with Partners and clients to provide insights that drive business performance, while also supporting and developing junior team members. What You’ll Be Doing Manage a portfolio of business and individual clients across various industries Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted advisor Prepare and review financial statements, tax returns, BAS, IAS, and other compliance obligations Assist clients with tax planning, cash flow management, budgeting, and business performance insights Support advisory projects including business structuring, forecasting, and growth strategies Review work completed by junior accountants and provide mentoring and technical guidance Work with cloud-based systems including Xero, MYOB, and related platforms Identify opportunities to improve processes, workflows, and client outcomes What We’re Looking For ✔ Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline ✔ CPA or CA qualified (or close to completion) ✔ 2-3 years’ experience within public practice accounting ✔ Strong knowledge of Australian taxation laws and accounting standards ✔ Excellent communication and relationship-building skills ✔ Strong analytical ability and attention to detail ✔ Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities Bonus Points For ⭐ Experience with Xero Practice Manager, MYOB AE, or similar systems ⭐ Exposure to advisory reporting, KPI dashboards, or business consulting work ⭐ Passion for mentoring and team development Ready to Take the Next Step?
