- Full Time Senior Pastry Chef About Us: Cremorne Street Bakers is a premium progressive wholesale Cake and Sweet baked goods company based in metro Melbourne, Victoria. We supply Victoria wide Cafes, Foodservice, Independent Supermarkets and Retail customers. As a company we have excellent facilities, equipment, attitude and enjoy everyday what we do. We are currently doubling our bakery footprint extending into the next door premises and have a growth trajectory of 20% this year. This position includes Production Baking and Leadership within our growing company. About You: The ideal applicant will:
- Have a minimum of 5+ years experience as a Cake Baker/Pastry Chef
- Be a confident leader who can maintain standards and guide the team whilst supporting the Production Manager
- Be confident with batch baking
- Must have experience with high volume wholesale batches
- Be comfortable and experienced within a commercial baking kitchen and with associated equipment
- Must have hands‑on experience with commercial mixers and ovens
- Be an organised and efficient chef with an eye for detail
- Have working knowledge of Food safety practices and HACCP
- Hold certification in baking or pastry
- Be ambitious and career focussed and keen for career advancement Must have Australian citizenship or permanent residency We Offer:
