About the role This is a hands-on field service role focused on maintenance, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and performance support of live BESS sites. You will be based in Bayswater, Melbourne, with regular interstate travel (approximately 40%) across VIC, NSW, QLD, and SA. All travel and accommodation expenses are fully covered. This role does not involve installation work. Key responsibilities
- Field-based fault finding, diagnostics, and corrective maintenance on BESS assets
- Preventative maintenance and scheduled service visits
- Supporting troubleshooting activities alongside engineering teams
- Conducting system checks, testing, and performance verification
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with procedures and standards
- Completing clear and accurate service reports and documentation
- Contributing to continuous improvement of system reliability and performance About you
- A Grade Electrical Licence (essential)
- Strong practical electrical skills and willingness to learn
- Good problem-solving ability and mechanical/electrical aptitude
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Comfortable with regular interstate travel
- Safety-focused and reliable
