Volunteer Coordinator (Melbourne)

Position Summary Join our People and Culture Team as a volunteer workforce coordinator. This permanent part‑time role (20 hours per week, typically 4 days from 9:00am to 2:30pm) supports the delivery of volunteer services across DPV Health’s northern suburbs. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee end‑to‑end coordination, stakeholder relationship management, reporting and monitoring for the volunteer workforce.
- Foster opportunities to enhance volunteer engagement and operationalise pathways to employment.
- Collaborate with leaders across the organisation and external community groups.
- Support volunteer life cycle activities: attraction, engagement, retention, events and celebrations. Required Qualifications and Experience
- Practical problem‑solver with initiative, enthusiasm and strong organisational skills.
- Professional experience in high‑volume, people‑focused administration; ideally within People and Culture, healthcare or community services.
- Experience with recruitment, onboarding, credentialing, placement planning, reporting and supporting volunteers.
- Demonstrated ability to work with diverse community groups and facilitate inclusive activities.
- Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel between sites and community groups. Additional Requirements
- Successful candidates must undergo a National Police Check, International Police Check (if applicable) and hold a valid WWCC. Benefits
