Job Overview We are seeking qualified technicians to join our professional service team. The role involves working on a wide range of Hino trucks and buses, from scheduled servicing and diagnostics to major rebuilds of engines and transmissions. Main Responsibilities
- Perform repairs, service and inspections on engines, gearboxes, brakes, diffusers and other components.
- Conduct diagnostic analysis using the latest diagnostic software and computer equipment.
- Produce transparent and concise reports detailing all work carried out on repair orders, including supplies used and recommendations in a prioritised order.
- Provide support and guidance to apprentices, mechanics and trade assistants. Requirements
- Minimum Certificate III in mechanical trade or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in the heavy vehicle industry.
- Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a customer‑focused team.
- Current HC/HR driver’s licence is an advantage but not essential.
- Pride in your work, ability to meet targets and maintain high standards.
- High motivation, reliability and a can‑do, positive attitude.
- Effective communication skills and commitment to workplace safety.
- Own tools (specialised tooling available from our in‑house tool room). Benefits
