About the role As a Head Gardener at Greenevent in this position you will be responsible for the plant health and garden maintenance of a well known site for Melbourne. You will work with a range of diverse plants and gardening equipment. Your Main Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Being responsible for the presentation of the gardens and grounds.
- Leading a team.
- Daily tasks include watering, pruning, fertilising, plant ID, planting, pest and disease, management, hedging, Irrigation management and repairs, weed management, mowing, edging, brush cutting, blowing and reporting.
- Regular reporting of all aspects of garden maintenance.
- Full Time Role
- Communication with the client and assisting with quoting suggestions. The work requirements include Monday to Friday from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm and offering a RDO every 4 weeks. With vast overtime and weekend work opportunities. We understand the importance of work-life balance and strive to provide a schedule that accommodates the needs of our team members. To be considered for this position, you must have a minimum of a Certificate III or IV horticultural qualification. Previous experience working on domestic or commercial sites is highly valued.
