The Opportunity The Governance Advisor reports to the Associate Director, Governance & Risk and Company Secretary and plays a key role in supporting governance, quality assurance and compliance activities across the College. As a Governance Advisor, you will step into a dynamic role. You will navigate a diverse portfolio of work that balances governance with the operational intricacies of a premier Group of Eight pathway provider. You will act as a key connector within the College, engaging with a broad range of stakeholders from executive leadership and university affiliates to international academic partners. This role has the ability to help strengthen governance frameworks that support student success globally. And offers a unique opportunity to work within transnational education, collaborating with our offshore partner network to support quality assurance across borders For further information on the position, please review the . Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality secretariat support to governance committees, including preparation of agendas, papers, minutes and tracking of actions. Assist in monitoring compliance with relevant regulatory frameworks (e.g. TEQSA, ESOS, CRICOS) and internal policies. Support the implementation and ongoing maintenance of governance and quality frameworks across the College. Support quality assurance activities, including audits, reviews and monitoring of program and operational performance. Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal stakeholders across Education, Operations and Corporate areas, as well as external partners where required. About You To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring: Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g. education, business, governance, public policy) or equivalent experience. Demonstrated knowledge of, or experience working with, higher education regulatory frameworks (e.g. TEQSA) is highly desirable. Experience working within the education sector, transnational education, or a regulated environment (highly desirable).
