The Chief Medical Imaging Technologist is a key member of the Cancer Imaging Leadership Team, working closely with the Director of Cancer Imaging and the Operations Director – Cancer Imaging. Responsibilities The Chief Medical Imaging Technologist (CMIT) is responsible for the leadership and management of Medical Imaging Technologists across the Cancer Imaging service. The role supports the Director of Cancer Imaging to maximise the efficiency, quality and safety of imaging services, ensure services are customer‑focused and delivered in a timely manner, and contribute to strategic service planning, innovation and continuous improvement.
