- Embedded to join our team in Melbourne, delivering top-tier AV solutions and support. The Audio Visual (AV) Technician is responsible for the onsite support, operation, and maintenance of Audio Visual systems within a dedicated client environment. This role is embedded at a single client site, providing hands‑on technical support to ensure seamless operation of meeting rooms, collaboration spaces, and event technologies. What you'll do
- Provide daily onsite support for AV systems across meeting rooms, boardrooms, and event spaces.
- Diagnose and resolve AV issues including audio, video, conferencing, control systems, and connectivity faults.
- Deliver rapid response support for live meetings and critical business events.
- Perform daily room checks, preventative maintenance, firmware updates, and system health monitoring.
- Support and maintain AV technologies including Crestron, QSC, AMX, Cisco Webex, and Cisco room systems.
- Troubleshoot integrated AV environments including signal flow, switching, and control interfaces.
- Support AV hardware including displays, projectors, microphones, speakers, cameras, and touch panels.
- Provide white‑glove support for executive meetings, town halls, presentations, and large‑scale events.
- Assist users with meeting setup, device connectivity, content sharing, and hybrid collaboration.
- Deliver end‑user support, guidance, and informal training on AV and collaboration technologies.
- Maintain AV documentation, standards, and asset registers while recommending system improvements and optimisation opportunities. What you'll bring
- Experience supporting enterprise AV environments onsite.
- Hands‑on experience with Crestron, QSC, or AMX systems.
- Experience with Cisco Webex and Cisco collaboration devices.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across AV signal flow, audio, and video systems.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a client‑facing environment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to IT and non‑IT stakeholders.
- Detail‑oriented with a high level of accuracy and a commitment to meeting tight deadlines.
- Ability to manage ambiguity and adapt to a rapidly changing business environment to prioritise accordingly.
