Salesforce Field Services Developer / Functional Consultant …, Melbourne

We're partnering with a leading organisation currently transforming their field operations capability and looking to bring in an experienced Salesforce Field Service Consultant / Developer to help drive the evolution of their forms and mobile workforce solutions. This role will focus heavily on Salesforce Field Service Work Plans and Data Capture, with a key objective of assessing the current forms landscape and leading the migration to native Salesforce Field Service forms functionality. You'll operate across discovery, solution design, gap analysis, migration planning and hands‑on implementation, working closely with business stakeholders, delivery teams and Business Analysts. Key Responsibilities
- Perform discovery activities and assess the current state of the existing forms solution.
- Analyse business processes, field workflows and operational requirements to identify improvement opportunities.
- Leverage demonstrated experience across Salesforce Field Service Work Plans and Data Capture (Forms) to evaluate platform capabilities and perform detailed gap analysis against business requirements.
- Collaborate closely with Business Analysts and stakeholders to develop a prioritised migration roadmap from the current forms solution into Salesforce Field Service forms.
- Design, configure and implement Salesforce Field Service forms aligned to the agreed migration strategy.
- Deliver hands‑on development and configuration across Salesforce Field Service and related Salesforce platform capabilities.
- Support testing, deployment and adoption activities to ensure successful rollout outcomes.
- Provide guidance on best practices, scalability and optimisation within Salesforce Field Service. About You
- Proven experience delivering Salesforce Field Service solutions in a Consultant, Functional Consultant or Developer capacity.
- Strong hands‑on experience with Salesforce Field Service Work Plans and Data Capture (Forms).
- Demonstrated ability to conduct discovery workshops, assess current-state environments and perform gap analysis.
- Experience developing migration and implementation plans for Salesforce platform solutions.
- Hands‑on configuration and development experience across Salesforce Field Service.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across business and technical teams.
- Salesforce certifications highly regarded. Nice to Have
- Experience migrating from third‑party forms platforms into Salesforce native functionality.
- Exposure to mobile workforce management and field operations environments.
