About the role The Credit and Affordability team is looking for a Credit Functional Analyst to join their team based in Melbourne. As a Credit Functional Analyst, you will be responsible for owning and governing the consumer collections strategy and dunning framework, ensuring process integrity, compliance, and effective execution across the portfolio. You will also be driving debt and revenue performance through targeted strategies, including remediation of 90+ aged balances, proactive monitoring of metrics, and delivering regulatory and functional changes, managing process exceptions to make us future‑fit and ensuring operational hygiene. What you’ll be doing
- Executing performance strategies across the portfolio to continuously improve debt and revenue performance.
- Developing and implementing an action plan for 90+ aged balances/top debtors remediation across PMF segments.
- Proactively monitoring, investigating and analysing debt performance reports, metrics, forecasts and trends on a daily and weekly basis.
- Interpreting, documenting and delivering regulatory/functional changes that may impact data, system or process in a timely manner.
- Implementing debt performance initiatives that positively impact the debt book and customer experience. What you’ll bring
- Process knowledge in credit management and collections, particularly within the energy industry.
- Understanding of dunning processes/collection strategies.
- Ability to analyse processes, recommend solutions and drive the solution to completion.
- Clear understanding of ERP platforms; prior exposure to Salesforce, SAP ISU/CRM is a plus.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills with a focus on detail; SQL knowledge is a plus.
- High‑quality written and verbal communication.
- Proven experience as a business/operational analyst in similar or related businesses. Benefits
