- Create an overall activity plan to ensure achievement of sales targets
- Create and execute both account plans and joint business plans with assigned Distribution Partners with focus on mid-range sales planning, increasing market coverage, increasing Festo's market presence & enhancing the Distribution Partners value proposition
- Regularly conduct geographical and industry segment-based market potential analysis to identify, select and onboard new Distribution Partners
- Execute Festo's Distribution Sales Strategy (incl. Network Planning, Contracting, Product Sales Steering, Stock Management, Pricing Guideline, Conflict Management, and Competence Development)
- Frequently visit Distribution Partners as well as joint visits to their customers in the respective area
- Proactively align with internal and external stakeholders on channel collaboration or managing channel conflicts to create a seamless customer journey Essential Skills, Experience and Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in a discipline such as Mechanical/Electrical Engineering; mechatronics or automation technology, Business Administration or comparable qualification
- Highly specialised role which requires the successful candidate to have intimate and specific knowledge of technical applications and processes
- Must have existing account stakeholder relationships within industrial automation
- Experience in the industrial automation market and the respective industries, products and applications is crucial. Pneumatic, electric and process control knowledge preferred.
- Sound understanding of business practices and behavioural styles of Distribution Partners is a must as we are building on and growing the current Distribution network in Australia
- Must have minimum of 5 years professional sales experience
- Due to the rapid‑paced nature of this position, successful candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office 365; Excel & CRM Software
- Knowledge of Festo as a company and its product range would be a significant advantage Benefits
