Where Engineering Meets Real-World Impact Are you ready to turn your technical knowledge into real-world impact? Technical sales is where engineering meets business — and where decisions get made. Technical expertise is just the starting point; the most impactful professionals combine technology, commercial thinking, and customer engagement to deliver real outcomes. This is a hands‑on 6‑month capability‑building role where you'll apply your technical knowledge in a customer‑facing, commercially driven environment. You’ll gain exposure to how automation, AI, IoT, big data, digital twins, industrial components, and advanced sensing technologies are applied to real customer challenges and how ideas become real outcomes. Location & Program Structure For VIC-based candidates , this program includes a structured training phase in Sydney:
- First 3 months: Based in Sydney, working closely with our central team to build solid foundations in product knowledge, systems, and customer processes.
- Final 1–3 months: Transition back to Victoria, depending on individual readiness and business needs. Candidates should be open to temporary relocation to Sydney during the initial training phase. What You’ll Do & Build
- Support customer enquiries and quotations — from enquiry to pricing and delivery.
- Contribute to day‑to‑day sales, customer, and operational activities, gaining real exposure to how solutions are delivered to customers.
- Work hands‑on with automation technologies across real industries.
- Engage directly with customers, build communication confidence, and understand customer needs.
- Support prospect follow‑ups and participate in sales discussions to understand how decisions are made. You’ll also gain exposure to:
- Multi‑million‑dollar Proof of Concept (PoC) centres.
- 2,000+ industrial automation products and solutions.
- Real customer applications and live project environments. Who This Is For
- Background in technical fields, engineering, or trades.
- Interested in applying technical knowledge in a real business environment.
- Curious, proactive, and willing to learn fast.
- Demonstrates discipline, resilience, and a strong work ethic.
- Strong communication skills (or willingness to develop them).
