Available Roles Registered Architect Project Coordinator / Architectural Technician Role Summary HDR's Architecture Business Group seeks experienced architecture professionals with strong technical documentation and drawing skills to join the Melbourne studio. The studio delivers projects across federal, education & science, tech/media/telecom (data centres) and healthcare. The immediate need is for individuals with experience or strong interest in the data centre sector. Key Responsibilities
- Independently produce detailed, high-quality construction drawings and documentation packages.
- Coordinate the architectural design process, develop alternative solutions, and create compelling presentation graphics.
- Produce schematic, design development, and construction documentation, ensuring alignment with compliance requirements and codes.
- Collaborate across project teams and support other sectors as project needs evolve. Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience working in the Data Centre sector – highly regarded.
- Tertiary education in Architecture or related field.
- High proficiency in key software including Revit (required) and Rhino.
- Typically 3-8 years of relevant experience.
- Strong appreciation for project design outcomes and expertise in the design phase work.
- Excellent communication skills both internally and externally.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple workstreams.
- Proactive, agile working style – open to contributing to various sectors and workstreams as required. Location & Work Arrangements
