Casual Receptionist | Guardian Medical Point Cook (by Bupa) We are seeking a friendly, organized Medical Receptionist to provide a welcoming experience for patients and support our clinical team at Guardian Medical Point Cook. Key Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors professionally, ensuring a positive experience from arrival to departure.
- Register new patients and update existing patient information accurately in the clinic's system.
- Manage appointment bookings efficiently, coordinating with staff for consultations, tests, and follow‑ups.
- Assist with processing payments, health insurance claims, and billing inquiries, ensuring accurate documentation and confidentiality.
- Maintain a clean, organized reception area and keep supplies stocked.
- Monitor inventory and request supplies as needed.
- Collaborate effectively with nursing and general practice teams, demonstrating teamwork and strong communication. Qualifications
- Previous GP Medical Receptionist experience required.
- Best Practice system experience is advantageous.
