Graduate Reliability Engineer (Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics) Seeking Graduate Reliability Engineer for a Large Pharmaceutical Manufacturer. Ideally, you're a graduate with 0‑3 years of manufacturing experience with a Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics Engineering degree. Location: South East Melbourne Shift: Day Shift A great opportunity to work with the maintenance department. Opportunities for learning and progression. We are seeking a skilled Graduate Mechanical Reliability Engineer to join a leading Pharmaceutical Manufacturing company based in the South East of Melbourne. Responsibilities
- Collaborating with Production, Engineering, Maintenance & Quality teams to identify ongoing issues and aim to improve overall equipment productivity, reliability, and production continuity.
- Dig deep into issues to find the root cause across the areas of safety, quality, productivity, people, and continuous improvement.
- Understand the goal of the department and team to contribute your skills and knowledge for its plans such as cost reduction, innovation, and ensuring full GMP compliance.
- Providing leadership and support to project outcomes and implementation. About You
- You will have a solution-focused mindset.
- You have a positive attitude.
- You have a love of learning; having exposure to more advanced reliability techniques is nice to have.
- You are driven to ensure production runs at its optimal level through detailed analysis of equipment and technical expertise.
- You are tertiary qualified in Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics Engineering with exceptional mechanical and electrical aptitude and proven experience working within a FMCG or manufacturing setting (experience in Food or Pharmaceutical industry would be an advantage).
- You are proactive, self‑motivated, possess excellent communication skills and can work within a diverse, multi‑functional environment; you can effectively manage both internal and external stakeholders.
