Senior Procurement Specialist Salary: $116,413
- $140,849 (Plus Superannuation) Fixed term role: until 11 June **** Usual hours of work: Full time Usual work location: 121 Exhibition Street, Melbourne (flexibility may be available) The Role The Senior Procurement Specialist is responsible for providing strategic procurement advice to DJSIR Groups and conducting end-to-end procurements to obtain value-for-money outcomes by using strategic sourcing strategies. This role is accountable for driving the development and implementation of high risk-high value procurement and sourcing initiatives to support DJSIR's strategic goals. Main accountabilities
- Provides specialist qualified services or advice
- Initiates and maintains relationships with peer and senior internal and external stakeholders
- Provides leadership in the adaptation and application of concepts to operational matters within local work area
- Provides high level expertise dealing with more complex issues in a specialised corporate support function The Team The position of Senior Procurement Specialist forms a part of the Finance, Investment and Procurement branch within the Corporate Services group. The Corporate Services group consists of specialist functions including finance, investment and procurement, performance and governance, legal and legislation, people and culture, information technology and workplace services and emergency management.
