Your Role Based in our Melbourne office, you will drive Archa's growth as part of our Commercial team. As a Business Development Manager you will identify, engage, and convert recent customers across our target segments while shaping our expansion into new industries and customer profiles. The role combines proactive prospecting with cooperative selling. Key activities include:
- Generating new opportunities through cold and warm outbound strategies.
- Co‑selling with integration and referral partners, coordinating outreach and guiding prospects through the sales funnel.
- Collaborating with Partnerships on joint initiatives, events, webinars, and partner activities to build awareness and credibility.
- Representing Archa externally at events and partner engagements.
- Building and managing a self‑sourced pipeline and progressing opportunities independently.
- Engaging stakeholders from founders to senior decision‑makers, bringing structure and organization to opportunity prioritization.
- Sharing customer insights to inform sales approach, product direction, and market positioning. Qualifications
- 4–6+ years of experience in a B2B sales or business development role, ideally within SaaS or Fintech.
- Proven ability to build and manage your own pipeline, including outbound activity and converting inbound/partner‑generated opportunities.
- Consultative, value‑based selling skill – confident uncovering problems, quantifying impact, and articulating value.
- Strong discovery and stakeholder management skills across operational users, business owners, and senior decision‑makers.
- Experience running structured sales processes across multiple conversations and touchpoints with transparent pipeline hygiene and forecasting discipline.
- Highly organized, self‑directed, able to prioritize activity and maintain follow‑through.
- Comfortable representing the company externally at events, webinars, and partner interactions.
- Customer‑first mindset, focusing on long‑term relationships rather than transactional outcomes.
- Curiosity and coachability – actively seeks feedback, continuously improves sales craft, and adapts to evolving go‑to‑market strategy. Nice to Have
