Location: Clyde North (Melbourne) VIC Work Type: Full-time, on-site Work Arrangement: Office based only, WFH not available Visa Sponsorship: Available for suitable candidates We are seeking an experienced Senior Scrum Master / Technical Delivery Lead to lead the delivery of a major technology project through to completion. This is a hands‑on delivery leadership role suited to someone who can manage developers, coordinate global teams, drive sprint execution, remove blockers, and ensure the project is delivered on time, to scope, and to a high standard. The successful candidate will work closely with senior management, the Chief Technology Officer, developers, designers, testers, and other stakeholders to turn technical direction into practical delivery outcomes. About the Role You will be responsible for leading a team of software developers and ensuring the successful delivery of a key technology platform. This role requires strong agile delivery experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage both local and internationally based team members. It is not a passive facilitation role; we are looking for someone who can take ownership, drive accountability, and keep the project moving to completion. Technical Environment The successful candidate must have strong experience leading teams and delivering projects within contemporary TypeScript‑first software environments. Demonstrated expertise or a strong working understanding of technologies and platforms including TypeScript, Node.js, NestJS, React, React Native, WebRTC, Prisma ORM, PostgreSQL, RESTful APIs, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and microservices‑based architectures is essential. Experience overseeing real‑time communication systems—signalling, connection lifecycle management, sockets, TURN/STUN infrastructure, and VoIP or push notification workflows—will be highly regarded. Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, authentication frameworks including JWT and OAuth, containerised deployments, Agile methodologies, monorepo architectures, OpenAPI Swagger documentation, payment integrations such as Stripe, and production‑grade mobile and web application delivery is also strongly preferred. Required Skills and Experience
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master, Technical Delivery Lead, Engineering Manager, Delivery Manager, or Lead Developer.
- Strong experience delivering software or technology projects from planning through to completion.
- Experience managing software developers and technical teams.
- Strong understanding of agile delivery, sprint planning, backlog management, and release cycles.
- Ability to work closely with CTOs, architects, developers, and senior business stakeholders.
- Experience leading globally distributed teams.
- Strong project tracking, stakeholder communication, and risk management skills.
- Ability to identify blockers early and drive practical solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong commercial judgement and a delivery-focused mindset. Highly Regarded
- Experience working in a regulated industry.
- Experience with health technology, medical, cosmetic, SaaS, marketplace, or enterprise software platforms.
- Previous experience taking over a project and driving it through to completion.
- Technical background as a developer, engineer, or systems analyst.
- Scrum Master certification, Agile certification, or project management certification.
- Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Trello, Azure DevOps, Slack, GitHub, or similar platforms. Work Arrangement This is an on‑site role based in Melbourne. The successful candidate must be available to work from the office. Work from home arrangements are not available for this position.
