- Collins Square Job Description We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Water Resources professional to join our Melbourne-based Water Resources team. By joining our team, you will work on the most transformative projects and have access to mentoring and guidance from our industry-leading specialists. You will also be provided with opportunities to collaborate across interstate and international offices as part of the broader Water Resources sector. How you’ll make a difference
- Deliver advanced flood modelling using TUFLOW hydraulics (and possibly HECRAS), and hydrology tools such as RAFTS, RORB, and WBNM.
- Undertake flood impact assessments, flood modelling, and contribute to major linear infrastructure projects.
- Liaise directly with clients and key stakeholders, including councils and environmental approvals authorities.
- Guide and mentor junior engineers and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams. Qualifications The following qualifications and experience are highly desired, but if you don’t tick all the boxes you could still be a perfect fit for this role. - Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering.
- Experience in flood risk management, hydrologic and hydraulic modelling, and mitigation.
- Knowledge of Australian standards and Victoria project frameworks.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with a range of stakeholders. Additional Information Why you’ll love working with us
