Role Description This is a part‑time, in‑office role for a Practice Manager/Senior Medical Secretary located in Camberwell, VIC. The role involves overseeing daily practice operations, scheduling appointments, managing patient records, handling billing processes, and providing general administrative support. The individual will also coordinate with clinical staff, address patient inquiries, and ensure the smooth functioning of the clinic by overseeing administrative policies and procedures. Qualifications
- Proficiency in managing appointments, patient records, and administrative workflows.
- Be able to audiotype physician letters (can also use AI where appropriate).
- Robust organizational and multitasking capabilities.
- Familiarity with medical billing and compliance processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with patients and staff.
- Skills in maintaining confidentiality and ensuring patient privacy.
- Proficiency using practice management software coreplus and other office tools.
- Demonstrated experience in team coordination or administrative leadership roles as need to manage a small team of 2 additional part‑time admin staff.
- Prior experience in healthcare or a similar industry is a plus.
- Diploma or certification in practice management, medical administration, or equivalent experience.
- Working with children check essential.
