Description
We are looking for a candidate who can put components together, integrate the whole system, and provide the sponsor or principal with a comprehensive solution for battery storage systems. This role requires the candidate to have a technical background and understand how to assemble everything and offer a one-stop plan for the customer. Ideally, the candidate should come from competitors like OEMs and have experience as a technical director or senior technical engineer. They should be familiar not only with the product but also have project delivery experience. We expect this person to guide the business on entering this market and promoting our products. We are planning to recruit three individuals, all with technical backgrounds. Each candidate should have at least an electrical engineering degree, with a preference for those who have experience in battery storage or inverter power electronics. Candidates with experience from battery sector or those who are ex-contractors, will be highly regarded. Your responsibilities: Application-based solution design and product integration in the electrical field. Developing custom system solutions in response to customer requirements and responding to technical sales queries (e.g. solar sizing, mechanical interfaces, electrical parameters, etc.) You will manage design, integration, deployment, and commissioning process for control system both on-site and remotely. You will act as a technical lead, approves design deliverables, review all project documents for conformity and quality assurance, anticipate and solve unprecedented problems, crucial issues and/or unique conditions and serve as a specialist in the application of advanced concepts and methods. You will assist in preparing proposal/presentation of engineering projects/programs (provision of bills of materials, estimated engineering hours, etc.). You will represent function in standardization committees and in communication and conferences pertaining to broad aspects of engineering assignments, act as technical specialist support to project and team members, collaborate and networks within Risen Energy and externally and lead engineering teams. You will review, develop, and document quality standards, processes, tools, and techniques, ensure that engineering activities comply with required safety regulations and contractual requirements, contribute towards continuous improvements of processes and tools for engineering efficiency. You will ensure safe working procedures and practices are always followed including the wearing and maintenance of assigned Personal Protective Equipment, attendance at required health, safety and workplace training, report injury, incidents, hazards and near miss events and model safe work behaviour in all aspects of work and actively identify hazards and risk controls.
