Senior Accountant (Property) (Melbourne)

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our fast-paced and growing Accounts team. Core Competencies
- Strong grasp of consolidation, project costing, cash flow, and financial reporting
- Experience in property, development accounting
- Strong understanding of GST, BAS, budgeting, cashflow, and variance analysis
- Ability to manage accounting across multiple entities and projects
- Confidence in reading funding and banking documentation
- Strong attention to detail with highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central similar system a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing deadlines
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
- Proactive approach to process improvement, internal controls and team support Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed project cost reports, cash flows, and feasibility updates
- Monitor and prepare budgets, track variances, and provide proactive financial insights
- Review GST, BAS and other compliance-related reporting
- Interpret and apply terms from funding documents, loan agreements, and bank facilities
- Collaborate with Development, Construction, and Sales teams
- Support month-end reporting and audit processes Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar
- CA/CPA qualified or in progress
- 3–5 years' experience in property development accounting Remuneration $110,000
- $140,000 per annum (plus superannuation) depending on experience What We Offer
