Salesforce Developer (OmniStudio) (Melbourne)

Job Description Key Responsibilities:
- Meet with clients to determine business, functional and technical requirements and participate in application design, configuration, testing and deployment
- Perform configuration and customization of the Salesforce.com platform.
- Participate in efforts to develop and execute testing, training and documentation
- Produce top-tier Salesforce Vlocity components and solutions in synergy with cross-functional experts, including solution architects, UI/UX specialists, accessibility consultants, and fellow developers
- Champion and actively participate in the adoption and expansion of continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD), DevOps methodologies, and advanced test automation practices.
- Follow all standard operating procedures (SOP) and maintain updated ticketing for events, incidents, requests, changes, problems, etc.
- Proactively engage on continuous improvement efforts for application design, support, and practice development efforts.
- Provide technical assistance and end user troubleshooting for bug fixes, enhancements, and “how-to” assistance. Skills and Experience required:
- 7+ years’ experience working on Salesforce platform
- 2+ year’s hands‑on experience developing on the Salesforce Vlocity platform utilizing core components such as Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), OmniScripts, FlexCards, Integration Procedures, and DataRaptors.
- Proven experience in Object‑Oriented Programming (OOP) principles, familiarity with software frameworks, and practical knowledge of widely used design patterns.
- Demonstrable experience in building and managing system integrations (e.g., REST APIs, Platform Events). Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage priorities judiciously
- Hold current Salesforce Platform Developer I and Platform Developer II certifications, as well as the OmniStudio Developer certification
- Experience across multiple Salesforce cloud implementations, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Community Cloud, and Public Sector.
- Superior analytical and problem‑solving abilities
- Comfortable working with Jira, VSCode for development, and modern DevOps pipelines. Additional Information
