LTSA Contracts Manager – Utility‑Scale Battery Energy Storage Location: Melbourne, VIC OR Sydney, NSW (Also open to Brisbane, QLD & Adelaide, SA) We are currently partnered with a global energy technology organisation who provide turnkey energy storage solutions across the global. Leading in the design, manufcaturing and integration of Battery Energy Storage Systems and EPC services for Utility Scale projects. They are rapidly expanding their footprint across APAC with a robust pipeline of projects. They are currently searching for a LTSA Contracts Manager to oversee long‑term service agreements for a portfolio of large‑scale battery energy storage assets across Australia. This role suits an experienced contract manager, service manager or asset manager who enjoys operating at the intersection of commercial governance, asset performance, and stakeholder engagement within complex infrastructure environments. About the Role You will be responsible for managing the delivery and performance of long‑term maintenance and service contracts, working closely with asset owners, service partners, and technical teams. Your focus will be on ensuring contractual compliance, service quality, and continuous improvement across operational sites. Key areas include contractor performance management, KPI and reporting oversight, agreement administration, and supporting safe, reliable asset operation in line with market and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities
- Lead LTSA and service contract negotiations, governance, and ongoing performance management across the Australian portfolio
- Manage operational and maintenance delivery, ensuring contractual, OEM, WHS, and regulatory compliance
- Oversee service providers, OEMs, and contractors, including performance, safety, and competency verification
- Monitor asset performance and KPIs, review reports, analyse trends, and drive improvements across NEM and WEM assets
- Act as the primary client and stakeholder interface, preparing and presenting monthly performance and operations reports
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, including spare parts strategies, testing activities, and best‑practice development About You
- Extensive experience in project management, service management, contracts management or asset management within renewable energy, power, or complex electrical systems.
- Working knowledge of the Australian energy market , including AEMO processes, NER, and grid connection frameworks.
- Understanding of AS/NZS standards , high‑voltage systems, and battery or energy storage technologies.
- Strong commercial, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Highly organised, self‑motivated, and flexible.
