About the Role As the Lecturer in Electrical Energy Engineering, you will be expected to prepare and deliver lectures, tutorials, and workshops and to assess students in the relevant discipline both on campus and online. This includes developing and supporting academic programs and working with the academic team in the development of program change and innovation. This position will also be expected to mentor and counsel students on academic matters and may also supervise honours, masters and PhD students. This position is within the Department of Engineering Technologies, where they delivers high quality personalised education and fosters a strong research culture that includes international collaboration, competitive grants, and high-quality publications. This is a great opportunity for an experienced educator who would like to join Swinburne University. Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver lectures, tutorials, and workshops in Electrical Energy Engineering.
- Assess students in the relevant discipline on campus and online.
- Develop and support academic programs and contribute to program change and innovation.
- Mentor and counsel students on academic matters and supervise honours, masters and PhD students as appropriate.
- Collaborate with the academic team to foster a solid research culture and international collaboration. Qualifications
- An earned doctoral qualification in the relevant discipline or a related field
- A teaching qualification
