Role Overview

- Leading company in its field Green Light Australia is looking to engage a VMware Cloud Transformation Architect with NV1 security clearance to join their team. Responsibilities
- Evaluate private cloud capacity, cost efficiency, and performance management, identifying opportunities for optimisation and improvement.
- Review and analyse end‑to‑end workload provisioning processes.
- Support workload provisioning optimisation initiatives, leveraging strong expertise in VCF Automation.
- Contribute to the development of the Private Cloud roadmap, applying proficiency in VCF architecture and design principles.
- Assess private cloud capabilities and maturity levels against industry standards.
- Quantify business and technical advantages, and document client requirements, findings, and actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate closely with key stakeholders. Requirements
- Proven experience in similar roles as VMware Architect or Cloud Architect for large complex environments.
- Due to access requirements, must have a NV1 security clearance or higher.
- Proven experience in delivering Cloud transformation programs.
- Proven experience with architecting Private Clouds and value selling to the business.
- Experience with VCF (VMware Cloud Foundation) architecture.
- Experience in VCF technology areas – Compute, Storage, Networking & Security, Operations, Automation and Kubernetes.
- Prior experience in a consulting role working with clients.
- VMware certifications (i.e. VCF Admin or VCF Architect will be seen as advantageous), however training will be provided.
- Excellent communication skills.
