Field Service Diesel Technician (Clayton) (Melbourne)

We're on the hunt for a trade-qualified Field Service Diesel Technician – ready to roll up their sleeves, hit the road, and get hands‑on with some of the toughest machinery on earth. About the Role Your typical day will include:
- Onsite technical troubleshooting and fault finding including diagnostics, repairs and maintenance on Cat equipment and their components; hydraulics, transmissions and engines
- Providing outstanding customer service to our loyal customers
- Compiling and completing accurate reporting
- Working autonomously to manage your time and maximise efficiency
- Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
- Liaising with our internal service and parts department
- Maintaining a William Adams service vehicle About You To be considered for this role you will have the following skills, experience and attributes:
- Qualified Diesel Technician with experience on Caterpillar machines (preferred)
- 2+ years experience working in a Field Service role (preferred)
- Have advanced mechanical diagnostic skills with Cat computer diagnostics knowledge (great to have)
- A proactive and positive attitude, with strong work ethic
- A solid commitment to safety, health & setting procedures
- Hold a current Drivers Licence
