- Lead and manage the end‑to‑end finance function, including AP/AR, payroll, treasury, budgeting and reporting
- Develop, mentor and drive performance of the finance team while setting clear goals and standards
- Coordinate annual budgeting, monthly reforecasting and cash flow management
- Prepare and oversee financial reporting, including management reports and statutory financial statements
- Manage external audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards, legislation and internal policies
- Identify and mitigate financial risks while maintaining strong governance and controls
- Contribute to strategic planning and organisational decision‑making as part of the leadership team
- Build and manage relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners such as auditors, banks and advisors
- Drive continuous improvement of financial systems, processes and policies A Successful Senior Finance Manager Should Have
- Professionally qualified (CA/CPA) with a strong technical grounding in accounting, reporting and compliance
- Proven leader with experience managing and developing high‑performing finance teams
- Strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, audit processes and financial analysis
- Advanced Excel and financial systems capability, including payroll systems
- Commercially minded, able to translate financial data into explicit insights for decision‑making
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Analytical problem‑solver with initiative and a focus on continuous improvement
